Exciting New Artists Added to the 2024 Biamp Portland Jazz Festival Lineup

15 Additional Shows Announced, Tickets on Sale December 13, 2023

The 2024 Biamp Portland Jazz Festival, already featuring a star-studded lineup of GRAMMY® Award Winners and NEA Jazz Masters, is thrilled to announce the addition of 15 more shows to its schedule. These new performances will further enrich the festival's diverse offering, showcasing the full breadth of jazz from February 16 through March 2, 2024.

The newly added artists include:

  • Braxton Cook on February 17, 2024

  • Marco Benevento on February 18, 2024

  • Stella Cole on February 21, 2024

  • Ethnic Heritage Ensemble on February 23, 2024

  • Ronnie Foster on February 24, 2024

  • Mel Brown b3 Organ Quartet on February 29, 2024

  • Stephan Crump on February 29, 2024

  • Melanie Charles on March 1, 2024

  • Caroline Davis on March 2, 2024

  • Carrtoons on March 2, 2024

Tickets for these additional shows will go on sale to the public at 10AM PST on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.

The festival, which takes place across Portland, Oregon, is a two-week music extravaganza that includes artists spanning the full breadth of jazz. The festival's lineup already includes artists such as Jon Batiste, Dianne Reeves, Nicholas Payton, Bob James, Lee Ritenour, John Patitucci, and Sullivan Fortner, among others.

PDX Jazz Executive Director, Chris Doss, states "pushing the boundaries and exploring the entire realm of jazz is a key element of the Portland Jazz Festival. Towards this aim, jazz-inspired dance makes its Festival debut at the 2024 Portland Jazz Festival with the world premiere of a PDX Jazz commissioned piece, featuring Shaun Keylock Company with music by Methods Body”.
