PDX Jazz Event Attendance Policy

All PDX Jazz staff, volunteers, and patrons attending PDX Jazz events must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, regardless of age, which includes receiving a booster shot. Prior to entering any venue hosting a PDX Jazz event, you will be required to provide proof of full vaccination (an official COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card issued by the CDC) along with a valid government issued photo ID (a valid student ID from an education institution may be accepted for minors under the age of 18 who are accompanied by an adult guardian).

Individuals who have received the two-dose regimen of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or one dose of Johnson & Johnson, who are not eligible for a booster, must provide a negative COVID-19 test (PCR test taken within 2 days of event entry or Antigen [rapid] test taken within 1 day of event entry). Negative test results must be from a test administered by a licensed healthcare facility. At-home tests are not accepted. Recipients of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines become eligible for a booster six months after their second dose, and recipients of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine become eligible two months after their single dose. Children ages 4 and under, for whom there is currently no vaccine available, are not permitted to attend PDX Jazz events.

“Fully Vaccinated” means that an individual has received their final vaccination dose of either the two-dose regimen of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or one dose of Johnson & Johnson at least 14 days before the event date, and at least 7 days have passed since receiving their booster shot.

PDX Jazz will not recognize any exemptions to this vaccination requirement and policy.

Face masks are required to be worn by all persons at PDX Jazz events. Unmasked persons will not be allowed into the venue. Masks must completely cover the nose and mouth. Gaiters and bandanas are not acceptable. Masks must be worn at all times except while eating or drinking for brief periods. Violators of the mask requirement may be asked to permanently leave the event. Refunds will not be provided to violators of the mask requirement.

In order to protect attending audiences, performing artists, and working personnel and to create the safest environment possible, safety officers and event staff will be on site at PDX Jazz events enforcing all provisions of this event attendance policy.

PDX Jazz reserves the right to refuse access to any person seeking admittance to any PDX Jazz event.

Refunds will be provided for those unable to meet the event admission vaccination requirements outlined in this PDX Jazz Event Attendance Policy.

If you have already purchased a ticket to a PDX Jazz event, and you are unable to meet the updated vaccination requirement, you may request refund assistance by emailing ticketing@pdxjazz.com. Refunds will be provided directly from the ticketing company that issued the ticket.
