Jazz in the Schools Student Art Exhibit

  • Portland Art Museum - Fred and Suzanne Fields Sunken Ballroom (Mark Building) 1119 Southwest Park Avenue Portland, OR, 97205 United States (map)

Join us for the annual Jazz in the Schools student art exhibit at the Portland Art Museum, open to the public from 10:30am – 6:00pm! Student artwork from the 2023-2024 school year will be on display in the Portland Art Museum, Fred and Suzanne Fields Sunken Ballroom, which is in the Museum's Mark Building. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres, Argyle wine, and coffee will be served from 5:00pm – 6:00pm with music by Overbridge Jazz Quartet.

This FREE exhibit is a chance to see student artwork from our Jazz in the Schools program - where students create their own pieces of album art in response to jazz.

We invite you to come and choose your favorite Elementary, Middle, and High School pieces of art. The pieces in each category with the most votes will become the student art posters for the 2024-2025 school year! This event is free for everyone - teachers, students, parents, and community members.
