Bossa PDX, led by Kerry Polizter, is a Portland-based band that plays lovingly transcribed arrangements of Gilberto Gil, Roberto Menescal, Marcos Valle, Caetano Veloso, Chico Buarque, João Donato, and Tom Jobim compositions, among others. We also play a selection of upbeat Brazilian jazz tunes. Our instrumentation includes vocals, piano, sax or flute, guitar, bass, and percussion.
