We are excited to announce our annual Jazz in the Schools exhibit at the Portland Art Museum on Wednesday, June 21st, open to the public from 10:30am – 6:30pm! Student artwork from the 2022-2023 school year will be on display in the Portland Art Museum, Fred and Suzanne Fields Sunken Ballroom, which is located in the Museum’s Mark Building, 1119 SW Park Ave. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres, wine and coffee will be served from 5:00pm – 6:00pm with music by Overbridge Jazz Quartet.
This FREE exhibit is a chance to see selected student artwork from our Jazz in the Schools program – where students create their own pieces of album art in response to jazz.
We invite you to come and choose your favorite Elementary, Middle, and High School pieces of art. The pieces in each category with the most votes will become the student art posters for the 2024 Festival! This event is free for everyone – teachers, students, parents, and community members – so get the word out!
