The Jazz Vespers is an all-inclusive, meditative evening service of word and music in the form of a jazz tinged original liturgy, punctuated with jazz standards throughout. The St. James Jazz Vespers has been held once a month for many years, featuring some of Portland’s finest jazz musicians. The service is free (a goodwill offering is suggested), and all are welcome.
